The Spotted Dog Tavern was established in 2013 after Stephen “Pato” Paterson purchased the Tavern formerly known as Banjo’s Tavern and upgraded it to its present standard.

"Sometimes when you have a great experience and go back a second time it is never as good. Not here, the staff are fantastic, the meals are great (the steak is the best in Queensland). The prices are good. We love this place and keep coming back."
